Regensburg is a city of 150,000 in Bavaria and located directly on the Danube River. Amongst the sights was a high Gothic cathedral, lovely old stone bridge, charming cobbled streets, a variety of squares and small alleys, narrow lanes and quaint shops. Regensburg is a preserved medieval city - a UNESCO world heritage site and it was largely spared from the bombing destruction of WWII. Proud sons of Regensburg were Oskar Schindler from the movie "Schindler's List" and Pope Benedict XVI - the current pope.
I went on a walking tour with a group and afterwards I accompanied some 'shopaholics' through the boutiques. I bought some beaut leather shoes.
Dave opted to visit the Audi factory in Ingolstadt and he had the camera.
